I believe your consumers are trying to tell you something. You should try and listen to the consumers. Possibly lowering your price a bit. If you comply you might just gain more clients. All consumers are looking for a better deal. Can't always get a great deal, but be reasonable.. you might move more volume which will raise your margins in the long run. Try it. What have you got to lose?!

One possible answer to the danger in riding in public? A Honda Grom!?! You can customise and personalise them to your hearts content, yet they're still just a 125cc so waaay lowers the risk factor. As they are 125cc's and have 5 gears, you get to ride them to their absolute max potential, full throttle, through the entire gear range to pull every bit of horse power from its little engine. Yet in doing so your still largely only travelling at legal road speed. Add that they're super light so your can throw them around like nothing, it makes for quite a different riding experience. Its like getting all the riding experience from a high end top tier sports bike, but just around town and at a much reduced speed. There by dramatically reducing any risk. Its a different mentality entirely, but once you get passed the high speed/power hang up, you actually get way more out of your rides. Then track days you can bust out the big boys/girls and bring on the speed. Personally, i think it makes you a way better rider, as you get to push a bike to its max potential and feel it operating as such every time you ride. It gives an awesome opportunity to hone every element of riding, despite the reduced speeds and even if its just down to a local shop or through town in traffic.
